Canada's Birchbox!

These are the different Canadian type Birchbox's that I found

So if you're wondering what the heck i'm talking about, and if you have no idea what Birchbox is then i'll just give you a little summery. Pretty much it's like getting a monthly magazine suscription except instead of magazines you get beauty products. About four or five sample sized beauty products to be exact. It's about 10 dollars a month and the products come in a little box with a card explaining each product.
Well, I thought this was the most amazing thing that I had ever heard until I found out that Birchbox doesn't ship to Canada! What?!?! That was about a year ago and I had pretty much given up hope of anything like that being in Canada... until now.

Canada has it's own Birchbox's, except they aren't called Birchbox. There are a few different company's that do about the same thing as Birchbox, the only difference is that they ship to CANADA! These are the ones that I saw and that look interesting

Now, I've seen reviews of luxebox on youtube and it looks pretty good but it's $12 dollars a month instead of $10 dollars, so it's a little more expensive. The one that I actually bought from was from TopBox and the reason is that it is $10 dollars not $12 and the products seemed more interesting to me. The only problem is that all of the December, January and Febuary TopBox's were already sold out so I had to pre-order it for March. But if it's so popular it must be good. I'm thinking about buying myself a christmas present though so I'm thinking of getting a box from LuxeBox maybe since they will be able to give me one in December.

I was randomly painting and came up with this. The dress that I really want for grad is what inspired this quick painting. It took my like 15 minutes or something. Anyway, if you want to see the picture of the actual grad dress I want but will never get then look below at my other blog posts, the title of it will be obvious.

You can tell by the quality of the painting that it was done really fast, lol

Doodles from the book Matched

These are some doodles I did while in my Social Studies class, I was bored. These doodles are of the book Matched. The Drawings are of the two artifacts that you learn about. The Compass and the Compact. This is what I think what they might have looked like. Anyway you have to read the book to know what i'm talking about.

My Dream Grad Dress

I really really really really want this dress for grad but
 #1, it's very expensive,
#2 I don't think they have my size and,
#3 I have to order it so I can't try it on until I have actually bought it. Even though I can return it, it's still a hastle.

It has a sort of Bohemian/Ethereal vibe to it

Anyway you might this, 'um that dress doesn't look like your usual grad dress.' Well it isn't! I hate those shiny grad dress fabrics that are strapless and tight and... ugh. They are so boring, I want something that screams NICOLE!!!!!!! to the whole world. And this one does it, I can't stop looking at it. I don't want a dress that I know looks good on me and that I feel pretty in, that's just not good enough. I want a dress that I feel AMAZING in; that I feel totally confidant and radiant in. Now these are pretty high standards, standards that i'm probably not going to reach; but i'm going to try really hard to find a dress like this one. I won't find a dress like this in a mall i don't think, but maybe in the downtown smaller shops that have more unique clothing. I really hope I find my perfect grad dress. It's only November but already a couple of people have their grad dress.

Matched by Ally Condie is the most amazing book ever! I can't even start to describe it and if I tried I would fail completely. All I can say is READ THE BOOK! It's full of love, romance, mystery, sadness, intrigue and everything in between. Can't wait to read the second book. It sucks that I have to wait until I get it from the library.

Walmart

I got a couple of things from Walmart when I went with Brianna. I got St.Ives lotion in oatmeal and Shea butter. It smells good. I got the smoky shadowblast eyeshadow. In the picture it is the 4th one from the right. I also got the Burt's Bees tinted lip balm. It's amazing. I got it in the colour Pink Blossom.

Bath and body works candles

The white candle is called 'fresh balsam' and smells like the needles on a Christmas tree. Defiantly a Christmas smell. The brown looking candle is called 'spiced apple toddy'. It smells like a spiced apple pie. Or when u come into a house smelling of baking after being outside in the cold. It smells amazing. I love these candles. They were buy 1 get one free. So the 2 of them were 12.50 in total. I love these candles. They r so Christmassy :)

Photo Editing

I got a phone a few months ago and one of the things I really like about having it is not just that I can talk to my friends whenever I want, though that is a bonus. The thing I really like about my phone is that I always have a camera whenever I need it. The camera I have is pretty good quality too. I love being able to capture things right in the moment and not have to say "FREEZE need to find my camera." Well I was playing with my camera on my phone and I got some different apps for photos to see what they would do and here are some of the different editing things that the photo apps did. The first picture on the top right is the original photo taken by my phone and the rest are different editing formats. So ya, this is me playing with my phone and having WAY too much time on my hands. Well time that I really should be doing other stuff

My phone is a windows phone so these apps are only work for windows phones, but some of them may have the same type of app on apple. So here are some of the photo apps I used and have on my phone
-Photo Crop (all it does is crop the image but that is still helpful) - free

-Pictures
-Pictures Lab (This one cost money I think but it looks really good, I haven't bought the full version yet though)
-Thumba Cam (I use this one a lot too, this one and Photo Stylist) - free

You know how you say, "O ya, i'm going to write in my blog everyday!" but it never happens. Well hopefully i'll actually write in this blog... hopefully. This blog will be about everything!!!!!!! Anything and everything, anything i'm interested or excited about. Sooooooooooooo I guess i should get started! :)
